U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and his Slovenian counterpart Anze Logar have signed a joint declaration on 5G technology. The move will effectively exclude Chinese 5G suppliers.

On Aug. 13, 1982, the coming-of-age comedy “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” is released in theaters. Written by Cameron Crowe and directed by Amy Heckerling, the movie chronicles a year in the life of several high schoolers. The iconic 80s movie launched the careers of Sean Penn, Nicholas Cage, Forest Whitaker and several others. In 2005, the movie was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.”

For more than two years, U.S. President Donald Trump has touted his close relationship and frequent personal correspondence with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. A new book may reveal just how close the relationship really is.
