Kazuhiro Tsuji has received many accolades and awards. He says one of his proudest moments is winning an Oscar at the Academy Awards in 2018 for Best Hair and Makeup Artist for his work in the British film “Darkest Hour.”

On This Day in American History

On Feb. 26, 1993, Islamic terrorists explode a truck bomb in the basement of the north tower of the World Trade Center. The plan was to knock the north tower into the south tower, and while that didn’t happen, six people were killed, and over 1,000 were injured. Plotters included Ramzi Yousef, Mahmud Abouhalima, Mohammad Salame and others. They received financing from long-time terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Yousef’s uncle. He is considered the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks and was arrested in 2003 in his home country of Pakistan.

This week in Hanoi, the lights will be shining brightly on U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Not far away from that big stage, China will be watching closely and, if all goes smoothly, asserting that it also played a role in efforts to promote peace on the Korean peninsula.

U.S. President Donald Trump is in Hanoi for his second summit with Kim Jong Un amid hopes for a deal that would lead to the North Korean leader giving up his nuclear weapons.

VIDEO: Vietnam, which is hosting the second Trump-Kim summit, was once divided between North and South; now it’s united. It was once at war with the U.S.; now it’s a friend. And it is a socialist country that has made economic reforms. All of that makes Vietnam an intriguing economic and political model for North Korea. But it’s not clear if North Korean leader Kim Jong Un sees it that way.
