VIDEO: The late reggae legend Bob Marley once sang: “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.” For a young Kurdish immigrant living in San Diego, Marley’s observation rings true. Blind since birth, the young musician says music washes away his pain.

On September 27, 1959, then Soviet Union premier, Nikita Khrushchev wraps up a nearly two-week tour of the United States. The tour was widely covered by the media and created several memorable moments, including him showing public anger after being barred from Disneyland for security reasons. At the end of the tour, Khrushchev met with then President Dwight D. Eisenhower.  

The Trojan Horse allowed the ancient Greek army to enter the city of Troy and defeat the Trojans. A similar strategy could help doctors destroy superbugs that are resistant to current antibiotics.

Behind closed doors at the Central Intelligence Agency, an elite team of intelligence officers guards the nation’s secrets. A few of them aren’t old enough to drink.

China has rejected accusations from President Donald Trump that Beijing is meddling in the upcoming U.S. elections, with some Chinese media calling the suggestion “crazy talk” and others noting the remarks were just “campaign strategy.”

America might be a melting pot of people from different countries and cultures, but evidence of that diversity is not easily apparent in all 50 U.S. states. California is the most diverse state overall, according to WalletHub, while West Virginia is the least diverse.
