President Trump’s announcement that the U.S. would recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital drew strong reaction Thursday. Indonesian President Joko Widodo said the move undermines global stability, and the country’s foreign minister wore a black-and-white keffiyeh scarf – a symbol of solidarity with Palestine – to a conference Thursday. Chinese state media also panned the move, calling the decision risky, and warning it raises questions about what the president might do next.
