Imagine having to pull someone in a rickshaw all day long during a heatwave. That’s Mohammad Khan’s predicament right now in New Delhi, where he lives. Heat waves in India have become deadlier and further global warming could make things even worse. Poor people like Khan are impacted the most as record-breaking heat becomes a fact of life.

On July 20, 1969, US astronaut Neil Armstrong becomes the first human to walk on the surface of the moon. The 38-year-old pilot and commander of the mission utters the following words as he steps off the lunar landing module and onto the gray, powdery surface: ‘That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.’
