VIDEO: India’s rapidly-growing robotics industry is transforming warehouses as automation replaces manual labor. But this progress could come at a price. The machines are setting a pace that humans can’t match at a time when the world’s second most populous country struggles to create jobs for millions of young people. The World Bank warns that automation could put 70 percent of India’s jobs at risk.

On June 22, 1944, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signs the G.I. Bill, as part of his sweeping New Deal reforms. The GI Bill gives returning World War II veterans access to unemployment compensation, low-interest home and business loans, and funding for education.

All races and ethnic groups grew in the United States over the last year, while the non-Hispanic white population grew the slowest, according to the latest numbers from the US Census Bureau. The Asian and Hispanic populations increased the fastest. Here’s why.
