Union workers could swing the battleground state of Ohio on election day. American politicians traditionally court the critical union vote. However, union loyalty isn’t what it used to be, at least when it comes down to which candidate to vote for.

On October 6, 1866, the first robbery of a moving train in the United States occurs in Indiana. After bandits make off with $10,000, robbing moving trains becomes popular in the American West. The sparsely populated, isolated areas are ideal for stopping trains, which often carry large quantities of cash and precious minerals.
