There’s no telling if a rumored delegate insurgency among Republicans is anywhere near widespread enough to deny Donald Trump the majority of delegates he needs to clinch the Republican nomination for president. But we did wonder how much leeway delegates have to vote the way they want, instead of following the will of primary voters in their state or district. Here’s what we learned.

On June 22, 1944, U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt signs the G.I. Bill, which helps returning members of the military – known as G.I.s – succeed in civilian life following their service in World War II. The bill gives returning veterans access to unemployment compensation, low-interest home and business loans, and funds their education.
