Trump says such screenings would bar individuals whom he describes as “dangerous lunatics, haters, bigots and maniacs.” He has also proposed to “eliminate every open-borders policy of the Biden administration” and said he would revive the travel ban that originally targeted citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries.

While Trump has pledged to expand the U.S. military, he proposes less U.S. involvement in foreign wars. He has insisted that he can end Russia’s war in Ukraine and the Israel-Hamas war, without explaining how.

Trump proposes an energy policy anchored to fossil fuels, as well as further drilling for oil and gas in the United States. He pledges to roll back Biden-era fuel efficiency standards and promises to end Biden incentives to encourage the development of electric cars.

Trump seeks to reduce role of federal bureaucrats, regulations

He proposes removing bureaucratic obstacles to an array of sectors, including fossil fuel production and housing construction. He also says he would end “frivolous litigation from the environmental extremists.” He has proposed making it easier to fire federal workers.
