Trump says such screenings would bar individuals whom he describes as “dangerous lunatics, haters, bigots and maniacs.” He has also proposed to “eliminate every open-borders policy of the Biden administration” and said he would revive the travel ban that originally targeted citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries.
During his campaign, Trump criticized U.S. assistance to Ukraine and called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy “one of the greatest salesmen I’ve ever seen.” He has also assailed NATO member nations for failing to hit military spending targets. | Learn more.

Trump proposes an energy policy anchored to fossil fuels, as well as further drilling for oil and gas in the United States. He pledges to roll back Biden-era fuel efficiency standards and promises to end Biden incentives to encourage the development of electric cars.

Trump has called for ending diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs in government institutions. He would also ask Congress to require that only two genders can be recognized at birth.
He proposes removing bureaucratic obstacles to an array of sectors, including fossil fuel production and housing construction. He also says he would end “frivolous litigation from the environmental extremists.” He has proposed making it easier to fire federal workers.
